The Maschsee in front of the City Hall in Hannover is completely built by human hand. In the 1930s three reasons were present to build this lake. Enclosing the flooding area of the Ihme, creating a recreation area close to the city and reducing the high inoccupation.

I made so many macros already and some people probably say now, ok, this guy should know what DOF is. Well I know what it is, but I always tend to forget how little the DOF is when photographing from a distance <40 cm with a 100mm macro lens ;-) I promise next time I keep some more distance because this photo is far from a perfect macro. Still nice to look at though :-)
