This refraction worked out well. Depicted in the drop is our front yard, so to speak, of our campsite on Hornby Island. It had just rained and chased us into our tents, so when it stopped, it was refraction time.

The thing I find interesting about this is you can see other droplets on the grass in the refraction, and you can see those same droplets on the actual blade of grass in the bokeh.

Shooting along the Galloping Goose Trail and the underside of a neighbor's fence just after a rain today. The droplets were all in row and appear to be refracting in a row, just like the condos in the bokeh.

The neighboring row of condos is depicted in the droplet along with a tree that is getting some help...in the right upper quadrant is a building crane that towers over the newest phase of development in the Railyards project along Victoria's Selkirk Waterway.

Low-angle light provides myriad effects on this dew-laded leaf. Blue sky in the droplets, and shadows of droplets on droplets.
