I am really bad at finding presents for friends. sometimes I have good ideas months before and other times I have absolutely no idea.
In this case it was easy for me...she told me exactly what she wanted....nothing more than a bit of my time.

We went and took some pics on a very cold morning...this is one of the first shots I finished editing...

Every since being introduced to Lightroom I've normally skipped Photoshop completely but this time I wanted to make the pics realy special.
I'm not to firm with editing portraits and mainly played around with some layer masks and a little bit of airbrushing.
Didn't want it to become to slick though.

Feel free to share your thoughts...

I'm quite unhappy with the way the skin looks. Maybe there's something I didn't take into concern....is there somekind of sharpening taking place when you upload the pics?

What's a good way of getting a smooth skin effect in Photoshop?
I'll be glad to get some advice on this matter...so please don't hesitate!

ich dreh gerade etwas frei, was die bearbeitung angeht und sehe mich mit der frage konfrontiert, ob mir die sachen, die ich momentan produziere überhaupt selbst gefallen würden.
anfangs konnte ich das immer definitiv bejahen, weil ich nur momente dokumentiert habe und mich immer gefreut habe, wenn sich was ergeben hat, das ein foto wert war.
jetzt gerade beschäftige ich mich mit der verkleinerung von nase, dem einsetzen von reflexen und dem glätten von ohnehin wunderschöner haut. ...

das filmchen hier hat mir einerseits zu denken gegeben und mich andererseits auf ideen gebracht.

my first slide film...don't really know if I like it.

Got the feeling everything is to dark but the highlights are blown anyway.
might be lack of practice/technique or just not my weapon of choice.
