Springtime is coming
and the same wind
that move this blossom
will caress the face of a child
somewhere else,
will play with the hat
of an irascible man,
will blow on the sand
of a deserted land
and will move lot of clouds
to bring a gentle rain
cancelling the blood shed
in another futile war,
will turn in a breeze
to wake up my children
and then will go away

Four layers: original (overexposed), one complete gaussian blur and two selective gaussian blurs (two different masks, on the Rotonda and on the foreground pole and shadow)

This shot was published last 8th of March and dedicated to my wife Orietta and all the women of Flickr. NowPublic asked the permission to use it for this article.
It was my first attempt at using two different exposures to have an higher dynamic (without using HDR).
Now I want to dedicate it to all my female friends on Ipernity.
