This is a detail shot of what turned out to be the projector "cabin" in that little old open air cinema I visited last night to watch Rocky Horror Picture Show. I climbed to get an inside peek and to show the projector "room", since it is something that always fascinated me :) Worked all perfectly well and I had a great time :)

ORIGINAL SIZE highly recommended! :)

I spent a lovely afternoon at one of Berlin's independent cinemas at Hackesche Höfe, watching Wim Wenders "Wings of Desire" (Der Himmel über Berlin). It was great!

the entrance hall of another old, independent cinema in Berlin, Charlottenburg quarter. It's called "Die Kurbel" (The crank) and is strangely incorporated in a normal residential house.

another one of Berlin's older cinemas, this one in front of Friedrichshain park, one of the largest parks in Berlin, and fittingly, it has a beer garden attached. After the movie it's great to stick there and enjoy a lovely summer night with friends!

capture of a private cinema function I once organized for friends of mine from several countries, to watch The Matrix on the big screen. This might explain the shades inside the theater :D

The cinema is Berlin's oldest still functioning one, called Moviemento.

another unique and outstanding cinema in Berlin, close to the Zoo train station: the Delphi. It truly conveys the feeling of grand old cinema and it's a pleasure to frequent its café and the whole ambiance around it.
