This is the North Saskatchewan river, just west of Edmonton. Quite a peaceful scene just a few minutes away from the city.

On 127th Street in Edmonton is this building. I like the trolley wires that criss-cross the intersection in the foreground. You can see how architects like to work with angles and reflections of the surroundings to add interest to buildings.

Just a photo I took while waiting for my daughter one day. I liked the look of this with the faded lettering on the bricks and the greenery of the tree bursting out of it's urban prison.

It seems that every few weeks, a truck driver gets confused by city traffic, and tries to drive under this bridge. It can create a real traffic jam.
