For those of you that have been saying that my sons look like me - hihihi - I am afraid that you will change your mind after seeing us together LOL...

The funny thing is that they all were born with blue eyes (well, I really think that is the color of almost all eyes in the beginning??) - but as they turn 2 years old their eye color starts to change into brown-ish...

This picture was taken last weekend at Árni´s birthday... :o) Nothing special I know - just thought I would post a picture of him in a normal state to make up for all the funny pictures of him I have showed here.... and this one shows how he is better than the others do hihihi... (AND I am not changing into some self-portrait/picture taking lady, no more pics of me for a while now LOL)

Skafrenningur means blowing snow... hm or at least I don´t know a better word for it. This picture is taken a few meters from the fire in the sky picture - took this one trying to capture the weather... well, looking at it HUGE makes it pretty obvious how windy and cold it was :o)

Well, this is a pretty long exposure (almost 4 minutes) but not long enough for the effects to be as i wanted them to be AND again the lights over there in the background!!! Well, like this one anyway :o)

This is the photo a day for the day before yesterday - 3 tasks came up so I have been QUITE busy!!

This is Linda - I did her make up and got to decide completely how we did this shoot - jehey :o)

This is a serious, kinda dissing look :o) :o)
She is a daughter of one of my best friends, and she was so small Yesterday (well, in my mind it was yesterday - TIME FLIES as I have said before and probably will again LOL)...

From today! The wind was very strong blowing snow all over - very cold and winter like BUT as I had my camera with me and I saw how the sky lit up like fire in between all this snow I just had to think fast and find some nice foreground before the fire disappeared :o) This was the best I came up with in such a short notice... :o)

I was cleaning my lens AND taking some silly shots of my boys... Alexander kept putting my lens cap back on - the next picture to this one was rather "half" - taken half second before he managed to close the lens :o)

That is what his T-shirt says AND it fits him in all ways!!!

This is my PAD and I promise - no more family photos until that "task" is over...

I did not realize how demanding it is to "have to" take a picture a day :o)

Will only stick with it for this month.... :o) Few more days to go...

It IS fun, but as my favorite subject (beside my boys) is landscape and the weather is well, not that stable these days, it is kindoff hard!!!

Not from today!!

It is my husbands birthday tomorrow and I have been busy planning some things for him... did manage to upload this picture AND take one of him and Arngrímur which I will upload a.s.a.p. it is hilarious IMHO...

This one was taken one of the days when we were playing around with painting LOL - as you can see I have a white line across my face which was drawn by Kristinn Logi (with a little help from his oldest brother) - they had fun but Alexander Hrafn does not like his mother to be painted or ANYTHING out of the ordinary :o)

I had been taking pictures of them so the lights were there and Arngrímur took this picture of us!!!

Sigh - this PAD is really making me do those last minute pictures... I think I will only stick with it for one month and then perhaps change it into PAW :o)

Have seen several pictures like that BUT because I only had those large, huge, fire matches (for New Years eve) the smoke was much to much so the outcome is not as good as I wanted it to be... will try this again with regular matches...

Used my studio for this one - tried it first with no extra light but the smoke completely disappeared - with one light it became this obvious...

Going to sleep :o)

Today started as all others - with all my beautiful smiling "boys"... (to me they ARE beautiful :o)

At lunch time I went on a kind-off "meeting" that I go to every 3 weeks together with 99 other women :o) ALWAYS fun and good company... today there was this discussion about kids that are born "different" - f.ex. paralyzed, deaf, blind, down syndrome and so on... We got to watch this beautiful film about one boy and his family - Alexander is his name (like my youngest one). Well it was a film made by Martin, Mary Ellen Marks husband, and it was so touching and beautiful. All the kids in this film were so beautiful and most of all they seemed happy....

OMG I got so touched by this film and discussion.

I went straight home, called my husband and he took a day off and we went out with our little boys... (The oldest one being at school)...

That should explain this not so good picture :o)

This picture is also from our little tour. It was a beautiful day, well the morning was awesome and the rest of the day not that bad...

I thought the road looked pretty cool like that - it changed rather rapidly having over 10 cars drive over it :o)

I am changing MY rules LOL..

This PAD is from now on going to be upload at least one picture a day :o) No really, yesterday and today my camera is not working (t.i. the new one) and I don´t feel like taking pictures when it is broken. Will post some new stuff a.s.a.p.

This one was taken on the same trip as the snowy road picture....

going on in this picture!!

1rst - this is an old picture that I never gave any second thought until now for my PAD (did not manage to take any today, so I looked through some of my never looked at pictures and found this one that I happened to like :o)...

2nd it is an 183sec exposure, with stars that appear as lines in the sky and some halos are visible because of the lights coming from Reykjavík and because of the movement in the clouds... So, some would say I should "fix" some of those flaws in ps BUT I am going to leave them!!!

3rd the background is a gathering of some not so interesting stuff that are all there for some or another reason....

Today I went on a little photo-tour with some fellow LMK members (LMK is an icelandic side for people that have photography as a hobby...) - it was a really nice day with good company.

This house is standing on a kinda lonely place - next to the sea ... People used to live there!!! Just imagine how life has been in those days...!!!!

I know - not good - got the idea from Qart on DPC... He really did an awesome job with a picture like that but my ps skills hm... BUT there will be some improvements in that area soon - just you wait... :o)
