What if ... ? What if there was a compilation CD of the home recordings we publish on ipernity? I really like the thought, but perhaps this design for a CD cover is a bit ... well, it’s more of an instant sketch of the moment the idea caught me. Hope you’ll like it anyway.

Aah, diese Herbststimmung! Das Laub fällt: Bankenkrise, Überwachungsstaat, soziale Ungerechtigkeit, und dann noch diese Laubgebläse – bei soviel Fun können einem schonmal die Blätter ausfallen ... Text und Klangeffekte sind eigene Aufnahmen (Analog-Diktiergerät), der Rhythmus ist komplett mit Loops aus Apple®’s Home-Recording-Software GarageBand® zusammengebastelt. Have Fun! Demo recording of a romantic autumn song with a folk-jazz feel and German lyrics. Vocals and sound effects are my own recordings, the rest was built with loops taken from Apple®’s home recording software GarageBand® (eigene Komposition, GEMA-frei).

My first effort in homerecording with “real” instruments involved: I played guitars and e-bass via USB recording interface, hammond organ and e-piano via MIDI controller keyboard; only the drums were arranged using readymade loops from Apple®’s “GarageBand”.
