Three years and four months back this heart-braking young beautiful boy changed our lives :o)

A few months ago we found out he is on the Autism spectrum.... Well, for weeks I did not sleep or eat!! I tried to convince the doctors they were wrong by calling them, showing them my son and EVERY other possible thing I could think of!!

Finally I got to terms with it... I read 16 books about Autism and how to deal with "it" - read everything I possible could find on the internet.....

Now - after this time has passed I can smile when I think back... (have called the doctors and apologized for this strange behavior which obviously they are used to :)

I finally saw Alexander again as "he is" - a perfect little boy that needs different things then his brothers... BUT OMG how much his small steps makes us happy...!

We did change many things in his/our lives - what we eat, how we look at things, how we talk to him....... hm... almost everything.... but things are getting back to normal, except what we eat...

Conclusion..... Difficult times make you look at life from a different "angle" and make you learn to appreciate things that maybe you took as granted before....

Alexander has taught me soooo many things - and I absolutely love him with all of my heart... to me this little guy is PERFECT...!

(his autism makes it hard for him to be around new things and people... he does not speak as he should but slowly he is learning. He does not accept people until he is very used to them BUT... he understands far more then he should, draws far better then he should for his age... knows all the letters AND makes us smile all the time because of his GREAT sense of humor!!!))

From a beautiful wedding I shot this summer - I personally love this shot :o)

This great couple got wedded outside and it was absolutely perfect in every way! The heat was around 20°c - light wind (kept the flies away) and the sun was shining with a little clouds cluttering up in the afternoon SO ideal for shooting pictures also.... :o)

Took this picture yesterday on a drive I took with my oldest son to Kleifarvatn. We went with another friend of mine and his son looking for something blue to shoot for a dpc challenge.
We found some regular stuff and were going back home, it was dark outside so we didn´t see anything up there at that point... Well, suddenly I saw how the moon was looking so bright and beautiful, ASKING me to picture it, so I did :o)

Not serious winners though, BUT we (as in my team) did win the "Olympics" on DPC...

This was my entry in the last challenge, stock fitness and it ended in 6th place :o)

Went with some friends to a late dinner last night and took my camera with me - on the way back I had to stop by some places because of my "team" on www.dpchallenge.com - rather funny probably to see me driving around with my camera on the last minute... We had one week for this challenge and the deadline was last night.... I made it :o)

As we were walking in Nyhavn in Denmark the seagulls were flying all around us AND I had my fisheye with me... which happens to be my absolut favorite lens...

This picture is from the same wedding as this picture... There were of course some regular pictures, but these two are my favorite... At first I was going to let the straws standing there bother me, but then I decided not to let them and not to remove them in photoshop...

On a VERY frightening place (well it was dark and windy) I took this picture - it had been raining, but the sky lit up for 50 minutes or so and I wen´t with Vala for a small drive... I did add red to the picture, maybe I´ll change it when I wake up, but for now I like it like that :o) ZZZzzzzz
Believe U me when I say it looks better BIG :o)

Info about the shot.... 85sec exposure at F2,8... 15mm fisheye Canon Eos 5D....

Uploaded for the fun of it... This is the road going all around Iceland, called Þjóðvegur 1. If you look closely you can see it is covered with a thin layer of ice, making it very hard to drive on it.... In the daylight it was acutally ok but after dark it was hard :o)

This place is called Jökulsárlón. It is a place where pieces from the glaciers run down to melt :o) This place is constantly changing and during the sommer time there is much more ice there...

There were 11 seals there with me FOLLOWING me around so it was hard to take pictures without them LOL..

This place is on the east end of Iceland, close to Höfn á Hornarfirði...

I went there for a reason soon to be told and then I will post some better shots from there :o)
