As funny it is - there were 3 ladys with the name Sigrún on my exhibition - this is Sigrún who is the head of the Radio stations 1 and 2 in Iceland (Rás 1 og Rás 2) - she had the dream to become an gymnastic teacher (and actually she did teach for a few years :o)

This is my sister Sigrún.... She wanted to become an writer and in a way she is... The text there is hers and she has written a few "small" stories which are b.t.w. GREAT!!! She is also an singer and sings like an angel OR two angels to say the least..... She also is an gardener and owns and runs a guest house in Akureyri... (so if you are coming over let us know ;o)...

Translation: She doesn´t have a name. Or I don´t remember, says Þrándur.
After the twins were born, Blóri and Böggull we always kinda kall her Mom, or the wife. How is your wife? Is your wife ok?
So in time that somehow got stuck. And that is ok..
The Wife thinks so to, I think.

Well, this is not the best translation and I hope Sigrún will read over it and correct me :o)
The names, Þrándur, Blóri and Böggull have a special two way meaning in Icelandic which makes this text brilliant BUT not possible to translate.....

Lúðvík is his name - he is the manager of a bank AND he is flying the aircraft in this picture which is his... (my brother is in there with him :o) So in a way his dream came through, he is a pilot also and owns a few aircrafts, there of one jet which he also flies him self :o)

This is Sigrún who is a doctor in real life.... I don´t remember the name for her dream job in English at the moment.... :o) BUT John helped me THANKS - Archaeologist :o)

And yes, I took her to Egypt for this picture (LOL)

Yes a Princess - I was absolutely stunned when she told me that AND she wanted to fight dragons LOL.... So - after some hard thinking and help from Sigrún, this was the outcome... In real life Beate Stormo is a kind off an artist and this www.ipernity.com/doc/ragnheidur/2670108 is her workplace....

This is actually 2 pictures - the church is in Snæfellsnes, at Búðir and Sigrún was in Akureyri when I took this picture of her...

This is Hlynur - he is an artist who´s dream was to become an Architect... FUGL means a BIRD and this is a piece of art that he made on a street near Akureyri....

Oh my - you should have seen my face when I asked Bragi what his dream had been.... an what?!? Amtman he said with a very calm and straight forward face!!! :o) :o)

Well - I did not want´ to bail out of any of the shooting so I found out what it was and this is the outcome. We managed to get Minjasafnið on Akureyri (a museum of history) to lend us the set up and got the costume hired WITH the exception of the hat which is an original Amt mans hat which the last Amt-guy in Iceland owned...

Bragi is a great person and we had a great fun making this picture which looks great huge IMHO of course LOL.... He is a brother of my fathers best friend, Húnni, which is amongst my favorite persons in this world!!!

This is Þorbjörn - who´s dream job was to become a farmer and I believe he would be great at it, the cows REALLY were found of him :o)

He is the Chief of the fire department in Akureyri.

This is from my exhibition...

The exh... is called "What were your future plans" (when you were a kid). All the pictures show people in their "dream jobs" - only 2 of my 18 models became what they had planned...

This man is my uncle, he wanted to become an artist and he did... the painting "floating" in the picture is one of his beautiful creations...
