These couples watch in vain for the setting sun. For 7 days, we did not see a sunset - such is the effect of the Monsoon.

We managed to sneak into the Lokanarkavu Temple in northern Kerala, India. Foreigners and non-hindus not usually allowed in! The rows of bowls along the wall all can serve as oil lamps.
