Altan Ovoo is located high on the pinnacle of a mountain top over 2,000 meters high. In ancient ritual the women may form a ring around the base of the mountain, but only the men can climb high to the ovoo's summit and carry out the ritual offerings.

Chinese New Year begins according to the Chinese calendar which consists of both Gregorian and lunar-solar calendar systems. Because the track of the new moon changes from year to year, Chinese New Year can begin anytime between late January and mid-February. In China, lion daces are generally performed by two people and can be further categorized into the Northern Chinese lion dance and the Southern Chinese lion dance. The Northern lion dance has its origins in imperial China as a form of entertainment . The lion is usually red, orange, or yellow in hue and the dance itself is quite acrobatic and occasionally features high risk stunts.

Looking at this picture I get the same feeling which I had while sitting there on the banks, looking to the boats passing and to the lotos drifting by...........
it's very strange and leads to some disorientation, that the lotos is drifting upwards the river to the cambodian border....???.....why, what, am I drunk? No, the Mekong has tides far up from sea, which let him flow into the wrong direction....!

It is thought that the Bactrian Camel was domesticated (independently from the dromedary) sometime before 2500 BC, probably in northern Iran, Northeast Afghanistan, or southwestern Turkestan. The dromedary is believed to have been domesticated between 4000 BCE and 2000 BCE in Arabia. The wild population of Bactrian Camels was first described by Nikolai Przhevalsky in the late 19th century.
