Staroměstská radnice (Old-Town Town Hall), Staroměstské náměstí 1

The symbol of the self-administration of the Staré Město originated in 1338. The core of the whole building is the Gothic corner house of the end of the 13th century to which the burghers additionally built the 66 m high tower with a chapel. The sightseeing route leads through valuable historic interiors, accessible is also the town hall tower with the observation gallery. At the horologe of 1410 every whole hour between 9:00 – 21:00 twelve apostles appear.

Capitale de la Moravie, Brno (en allemand : Brünn) est la deuxième plus grande ville de la République tchèque avec une population de 390 000 habitants, et est située au confluent des rivières Svitava et Svratka.

Le monument le plus connu de la ville est la Villa Tugendhat, construit par Ludwig Mies van der Rohe dans les années 1920. Cet exemple de l'architecture moderne a été inscrit sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en 2002.

Brno possède un aéroport situé à Brno-Tuřany (code AITA : BRQ).

When, in the middle of the 13th century, the Liechtenstein family acquired their first land in Lednice, they suddenly owned as yet unused meadows and swamps, annually flooded by the Dyje river. By the time when, seven hundred years later, the Liechtensteins were leaving the estate, the swamps had been reclaimed and a singular complex of structures large and small had been erected between Lednice and the neighbouring Valtice, like gems fitted in a huge mosaic of rivers, canals and parks. The Lednice park which seamlessly merges with the surrounding landscape has been nicknamed 'Garden of Europe' and 'Garden of Paradise'.

Historie města Český Krumlov

Jméno města Krumlov je odvozováno z německého výrazu "Krumme Aue", který je překládán jako "Křivý luh". Tento název byl odvozen z přírodních podmínek, konkrétně z tvaru území, na němž se město rozkládá - to leží v esovitě zakřivených meandrech řeky Vltavy. Na latinských listinách je nazýváno Crumlovia či Crumlovium. První zmínka je zachována v písemnosti z roku 1253, kde je Krumlov označován coby Chrumbenowe.

The Třebíč´s ghetto Zámostí presents the most preserved Jewish quarter not only in the Czech Republic, but apparantly also in Europe. The preserved quarter includes 123 houses, two synagogues, two main streets, embankments and numerous narrow streets, public passages and open spaces. Together with the nearby Romanesque-Gothic basilica of St. Prokop and with one of the most beautiful and most preserved Jewish cemeteries in Moravia, the Třebíč´s ghetto was listed in the world's natural and cultural heritage UNESCO in 2003.

Dominate der Stadt Rosice, die etwa 20 km westlich von Brünn am Fluß Bobrava liegt, ist das am Zusammenfluß von Bobrava und Říčanský potok auf einem Berg stehende Schloß. Es wurde in den Jahren von 1570-1579 als typischer Renaissancebau mit Arkadenhof erbaut und ersetzte den ursprünglichen mittelalterlichen Sitz aus dem 13. Jh. Bauherr war die Familie Žerotín, die Rosice im Jahr 1562 envarb. Šimon Jiří von Sin machte wesentliche Eingriffe in die architektonische Gestaltung des Schlosses. Zu seiner Zeit kam es zur Überdek kung der ursprünglichen Renaissancefassaden mit einer neuen historischen Fassade, und zur Beseitigung des Stirnflügels des Vorschlosses mit dem Eingangstor. Trotz späterer Anpassungen blieb bis heute eine bedeutende Anzahl an Renaissance-Elementen erhalten. Außer den Arkaden sind es vor allem Gewólbe im Erdgeschoß und im ersten Stock und die Steinteile der Portale, Säulen u.a. Gegenwärtig ist das Schloß teilweise zugängig. Es können Interieurs, die im Renaissance und Barockstil rekonstruiert wurden, besichtigt werden.
