Cette série de photos du cimetière de Copenhague est tout particulièrement dédiée à mon Amie Agatha ! Je lui avais promis et ce fut un plaisir de me ballader dans ce grand musée en plein air. Nous nous somme connus par l'intermédiaire de ces photos cimetières en fait !

Die Herkunft des Ortsnamens Kirchschlag wird oft fälschlicherweise mit einer Kirche am Schlag gedeutet. In Wirklichkeit besagt der Name, dass die zur Ortsgründung notwendige Schlägerung eines Waldgebietes auf Initiative der Kirche erfolgte. Konkret war dies hier das oberösterreichische Stift Reichersberg, von dem aus beginnend 1144 in der Buckligen Welt insgesamt 20 Patronatspfarren eingerichtet wurden. Die Gründung von Kirchschlag mit einer dem Hlg. Johannes dem Täufer geweihten Taufkirche wird um 1170 angenommen.

Tja, dieses schöne alte Karussell, welches alljährlich den Leipziger Weihnachtsmarkt schmückte, ist nun kürzlich abgebrannt. Aus diesem Anlass hab ich mal im Archiv gekramt... leider habe ich kein schlechteres Bild gefunden! - Hier gibt's die "Glutrot-Version".

Am nördlichsten Punkt der Alpen, dem "Hangintenstein" (hängender Stein) steht die kleine aber wunderbar angelegte und im Kern romanische Burg Greifenstein. Es wird vermutet, das schon die Römer hier einen Aussichtspunkt oder sogar eine Festung unterhielten, da hier die alte römische Provinzgrenze zwischen Oberpannonien und Ufernoricum verlief. Der Name"Hanginstein" wurde schon um 900 urkundlich erwähnt, und 955 wird das Land bis zu diesem Felsen vom Bayernherzog an dem Bistum Passau übergeben. In einem Vertrag zwischen dem Markgrafen Leopold III und dem Bischof von Passau, wurde die Burg 1135 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Damals reichte das Hoheitsgebiet der Passauer Hofmark Zeiselmauer bis zu diesem besagten Punkt und man benötigte die Burg als Grenzfeste gegen den Osten und Norden. Daher überließ man es einem treuen Ministerialen, nämlich einem gewissen "Grifo", an diesem Bergsporn am äußersten Nordhang des Wienerwalds, ein kleines Festes Haus zu errichten. Er gab der Burg auch ihren heutigen Namen, Greifenstein.
