Bearbeitung in PhotoFiltre Studio:
Duplizierte Ebene des Fotos in einen Sepia-Ton eingefärbt, und in 80% Deckung auf das Original gelegt. Rauschen hinzugefügt.
Sättigung der unteren Ebene erhöht.
Ebenen zusammengefügt, und eine Rand drumherum gebastelt.

Martinsfeuer COLLAGE II

Martinszug / Laternen-Umzug an einer Schule.

Schule und Förderverein organisieren jedes Jahr einen Haufen unbehandeltes Holz, einen "St. Martin" auf einem phlegmatischen Pferd, zwei enthusiastische Kapellen (einmal Trommler- und Pfeifer, einmal Posaunenchor), einen ordnungsliebenden Stadtteilpolizisten, sowie eine geduldige Brandsicherheitswache der freiwilligen Feuerwehr.

Mit selbstgebastelten bunten Laternen geht der Martinszug durch die nähere Umgebung: Roß und Reiter voraus, Musikkapellen gut verteilt mittendrin. Kurz vor der Rückkehr auf den Schulhof wird das Martinsfeuer entzündet (meist einen Tick zu spät). Auf dem Hof gibt es eine kleine Theatereinlage, und zum Schluß werden am (inzwischen hoch brennenden) Feuer Martinslieder gesungen.
Bevor sich die Menschenmenge danach langsam zerstreut, steht man noch einige Zeit um das Feuer versammelt, oder gönnt sich einen warmen Kakao oder Glühwein, verspeist einen Stutenkerl (der hier übrigens Weckemännchen heißt) und unterhält sich - oder gibt ein Interview für die Schülerzeitung. ;-)

Something from the archives, yours truly many years ago when I did my national service. This was in the middle of the night, still bright thanks to the Nordic light during the summer :) Apparently I didn't have time to get in place before the self timer counted down, the camera probably fell over or something and I had to upright it.

Back then I was a fresh abitur and in NCO school, several years onwards I'm still not done with my university studies and a reserve sergeant and now lastly, a father. Shot with my first digital camera and the first camera I shot a lot with, a Canon Digital IXUS ("Mark I"). In hindsight I wish I had been more into photography before this, would have been many interesting photo opportunities when serving.
