Il Chiostro degli Aranci si trova nella Badia Fiorentina a Firenze. Questo chiostro fu costruito tra il 1432 e il 1438 da Bernardo Rossellino con gli affreschi sulla vita di San Benedetto, dipinti dal portoghese Giovanni di Consalvo (già indicato come Maestro del Chiostro degli Aranci) dal 1436 al 1439.

Bývalé kartuziánské muzeum Maria Thron bylo založeno vévodou Albrechtem II. V barokně gotickém kostele, se nachází náhrobek zakladatele a habsburského vévody Albrechta II. a jeho manželky, stejně jako klášterní knihovna z počátku 18. století.

Die Kartause Gaming
Das ehemalige Kartäuserkloster wurde von Albrecht II., Herzog von Osterreich, gegründet. 452 Jahre lebten hier die Kartäuser, genannt "Weiße Mönche". 1984 ging die Kartause in Privatbesitz über und wurde sorgfältig restauriert. Es entstand hier wieder eines der bedeutendsten und schönsten Kulturdenkmäler Mitteleuropas.

In der Kirche "Maria Thron" ist der Mitbegründer von Österreich, Herzog Albrecht II., mit seiner Gemahlin Johanna von Pfirt sowie Elisabeth von Böhmen, die Tochter Kaiser Karls IV, bestattet.

HISTORY OF KARTAUSE GAMING
The former Carthusian abbey of Maria Thron has its origins in an endowment from Duke Albrecht II in the year 1330. Nestled at the edge of the Gaming valley basin, the mighty Gothic church, with its roof turret, has become perhaps the most striking symbol of the entire Ötscherland. After the dissolution of the monastery by Emperor Josef II, this exquisite cultural jewel experienced a rather checkered fate. When architect, Walter Hildebrand, purchased the property in 1984 with a view to its renovation, the task required great personal commitment on his part and generous public support, in order to make the former abbey complex into what visitors encounter today.
