Haná is an ethnic region in central Moravia in the Czech Republic, roughly encircled by the cities of Zábřeh, Holešov, Vyškov and Uničov, the main parts of which are located in the lowlands of the Morava River and the Haná River. Haná is primarily known for its agricultural productivity, costumes, and traditional customs. Hanáčtina is the customary name of the Czech dialect spoken in the region, and is more precisely classified as part of the Central Moravian dialect group. This traditional dialect has been preserved and continued even in printed publications from the region. Folk music from Haná is recognized locally by its utilization of lyrics in Hanáčtina.

Hainburg is situated amid fabulous countryside and stands between two cities – Bratislava and Vienna. With its colourful narrow streets and many interesting buildings, Hainburg is a gateway to the past, and several styles from various periods can be seen in its architecture. The heavily fortified town gates, together with the towers, are and have been a symbol of protection and security over the centuries.
Hainburg is thought to have been established around 1050, when emperor Henry III had a castle built on a hill called Schlossberg. The town went through many good and bad times. The Babenbergers, who were involved in the active development of the town, were followed by the Hapsburgs, and with Hapsburgs came centuries when Hainburg was pledged several times and suffered in wars. It was threatened several times by the old Hungarians and Turks. Both world wars also left their mark on Hainburg too. Today, it is an international border town between the West and East, as it has always been.
On 27 October 1996, on the Schlossberg, an agreement was signed on the Donau National Park, which should ensure the protection of a countryside that is unique in Central Europe and also the last of its kind. This floodplain forest, with its richly structured riverbed between Vienna and Bratislava, is the also last of its kind in Austria.

The Malenisko Pilgrimage Site

Those who follow the way of the cross, fashioned by Emil Brendl, will reach the 18th-century Church of Our Lady of the Snows at Malenisko. There is a painting of the nursing Virgin Mary on the main altar, which attracts numerous pilgrims to the church. A spring of curative water is located not far from the church.

Capitale de la Moravie, Brno (en allemand : Brünn) est la deuxième plus grande ville de la République tchèque avec une population de 390 000 habitants, et est située au confluent des rivières Svitava et Svratka.

Le monument le plus connu de la ville est la Villa Tugendhat, construit par Ludwig Mies van der Rohe dans les années 1920. Cet exemple de l'architecture moderne a été inscrit sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en 2002.

Brno possède un aéroport situé à Brno-Tuřany (code AITA : BRQ).
