In this photo you can see one of my favourite m42 zoom lenses. The lens itself is light and compact and it is a pleasure to use. Generally I tend to use standard, wide angle or short zoom lenses, but when I need to capture a more distant image, this lens will do it superbly. I bought it through the internet and it arrived in perfect 'factory' condition along with the original box, as you can see. I took the shot using a Praktica MTL3 and a 35 -70 mm Pentacon lens.

In 2008 I bought from a camera shop these two M42 lenses from their second hand shelf.
The one on the left is a Helios 28mm lens with an incredible 58mm thread for filters. The darker lens on the right is also a fixed focal length lens, a 13mm Carl Zeiss Jena lens which is very handsome.
I know, I already have a number of lenses which can give me 135mm - zoom lenses- but when you see a handsome lens at a nice price then I was very happy to buy! (Good camera shops with second hand equipment can be dangerous places for me to visit!) It's a 35mm photo taken on a Praktica MTL3.

Two M42 lenses, a mini zoom 35-70 lens which I use a lot and I find it better than some fixed focal lenses and a medium CZJ 35 - 135 lens which handles beautifully.
