well actually it is the grinding surface of a sheep’s molars.

Using the Sinar mounted with my canon EOS for 1:1 macro shots the old sheep skull becomes a mysterious landscape to explore.

By the way, does anyone of you have one of those daylight tanks for three rolls of 135 film that you can spare? or even better a large format daylight tank that you don't use?

You may know the feeling; like an old-fashioned flash bulb one day You are shining perfection nothing but promising potential full of explosive chemicals ready to enlighten the world. Pop and you are nothing but discardable junk and you are not even sure the light set any lasting mark on anything. It's all imagination for sure but that is how it is with quite a lot of our life isn't it? Pain based on some kind of unreality...

They are all over the place these cages. They are always empty. When you drive thru a newly build neighbourhood there is not a soul to be seen but there are trampoline cages in all the gardens.

Can your camera do this?

I had this incredible stroke of luck. I found a Sinar large format camera at a flea market. All the things I have imagined I would do if I could just for a day or so rent a large format camera like this. Now I actually own one… It was simply piled up with a lot of junk. They had no idea what it was for and probably no one had shown any interest before so I got it very cheap. It took a bit of cleaning and lubricating and I had to make a rail clamp myself but now it is there fully functional Schneider Kreuznach Symmar 150 f/5.6 optics, Sinar Copal shutter, bellows, extender bellows, Groundglass Focusing Screen, two film cassettes, Polaroid cassette and everything in between apart from the rail clamp. I am going to have so much fun you can’t even begin to imagine.

Let us imagine that Allah is so great that if a revelation of Allah has been laid down in every human being in the history of mankind as much as a human soul can hold that would not be a fraction of What Allah truly is. Could it be that Allah is so great that not two of those revelations are the same? In 1801 at the battle of Copenhagen when Lord 1st viscount Horatio Nelson was to decide weather or not to blow the Danish navy to hell or cease fire he said to his flag captain as he put his telescope to his blind eye “You know, Foley, I have only one eye. I have a right to be blind sometimes.” He ordered the fighting to go on in spite of the massive losses.
British casualties were 253 killed 688 wounded. No British ship was lost. The Danes lost 790 killed, 900 wounded and 2,000 made prisoner.

I have no opinion as to the battle of Copenhagen but violence is always blind.

I walk through the landscape and try to grasp it all, but fail. I even borrow a 10mm lens but it is far from enough. Then I narrow down my attention more and more till I get down to three drops on a wire. My mind explodes as I realize that each drop holds the entire landscape sun and all…
