The Camp buildings were scattered along a hilltop, which overlooked Silver Lake,  and with a view of the surrounding hills and distant mountains. The Camp buildings were scattered along a hilltop, which overlooked Silver Lake,  and with a view of the surrounding hills and distant mountains. In the 1950's the camp was abandoned and torn down.&lt;br /&gt;
