extras: categories, but who needs that? i don't, at least not on the iPhone itself, comments, save a picture with a voice note.

quality used "best" (22khz) - not even "better" (44.1khz), which IS indeed better, but i forgot to choose this before recording. anyway iTalk is free and so wins against SpeakEasy for me.

Sync via WiFi -
Output is Aiff (which you can upload to ipernity)

Very bad quality as you can hear. Only 8khz (the others go uo to 44khz, that is CD Quality) Saved as WAV-file (yuck). Recordings limited to 5 minutes. Only nice feature is that you can send it via eMail and it's free.

my favorite i think, not because of the design but because of the export features.
- $1.99
- pause/resume recordings.
- up to 22khz (sounds good to me, although iTalk goes up to 44)
- aiff file format

export via email is very nicely done with adressbook portrait pictures etc...
you can save 4 default recipients and a default sender address....
another way to get the saved audio files is to connect to the iphone via WiFi, the app tells you a URL that you can go to in your browser and download the audio files directly. No extra tools needed to install on your computer... great!
