After we returned from the trip abroad today, Adrian and I went outside for a photo session. Adrian took pictures of his new crocodile, with a plan to trick his grandparents: "They won't understand a thing, imagine having crocs in our river!" His aunt was the one falling for the scam, though, she looked at three similar photos before it dawned on her that the croc was made of plastic.

No need for snow for me to have a great winter! In fact, the longer it stays away, the better. I don't feel to safe right now, though - the temperature's been falling steadily over the last few days.

Up north the days are quite short right now, it's dark when we leave for work/school, and we're driving home during the blue hour. My garden is lit up by the street lamp and a lamp on our porch, I love the long shadows from the hedge.
