Canarian Island La Palma (see Geotag),
on top of the volcano there is the biggest astrophysical obervatory in Europe,
(politically, not geographically)
the place is called "Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos",
this is just one out of many different telescopes.

This is the DOT, the Dutch Open Telescope,
it was designed for high-resolution imaging of the solar atmosphere
