I like the antilogy tradition (crop growing) and modernity (electricity, tractor tracks) in this shot. It was taken in Schwalbach/Eschborn (near to Frankfurt) while I was staying there for a class at EMC²

I took this shot of a fisherman at work while I was hanging around at the atlantic ocean coast in lahnch (Ireland)

Actually this is a 2nd retouching of this photo. I wanted to import the 1st version from my flickr account, but I decided to retouch it another time, as the first version didn't work for me anymore.

The fork fell on my floor and I though- hey nice "composition". So I took my EF 50mm f/1.8 and shot it. It was already really dark in my living room, as it's already 12.45am, so the light works very well with the b&w (IMHO). I took this with ISO 1600 which causes the grain which works at least here very well too.
