On the highest level of the old blast furnace in the "Landschaftspark Duisburg". This security guard is chatting with some girls that stand to the left of the photographer, on the stairs that lead to the level.

On the top of the blast furnace monument, that is part of the Landschaftspark in Duisburg, Germany. I think the curved rod is a lightning rod.

Parking deck of the ASEAG building in Aachen.

An other view of this very nice hole in the ceiling is here.

To take this image I needed to lie on the floor. Off course I took it from multiple viewpoints. While I was crouching on the floor, a couple came and discussed if they should call the ambulance for me. I guess they thought I was very drunk or stoned. When I started to stand up, to tell them that I'm OK, they walked away.

One of those nicely decorated houses from the 1900s in which everyone wants to live. This was certainly upper class housing, but there also exist matching decorated blocks of working class housing.

Mechanics are working to start the vintage racing car. I believe it's a Porsche 718.

I have sharpened the mechanics too. I now think that I shouldn't have done that, because the high-contrast mechanics distract from the car.

71st Birthday

The guy on the left hangs out in this small shop every day, and plays checkers. When I started to take some photos of him, the young guy burst in and shouted: "Take his photo! Today is his 71st birthday!"

I have this photo in BW too. Do you like it better in BW?
