It was my meaning to make a nice picture from this beautiful place, In the middle of my work, my tripod broke, so the picture in not good enough, however I decide to send it anyway.

This image is from an Island name is Videy and the blue light is the Imagine Peace Tower (Icelandic: Friðarsúlan, meaning "the peace column") is a memorial to John Lennon from his widow, Yoko Ono, located on Viðey Island in Kollafjörður Bay near Reykjavík, Iceland. It consists of a tall "tower of light", projected from a white stone monument that has the words "Imagine Peace" carved into it in 24 languages. These words, and the name of the tower, are a reference to Lennon's peace anthem, Imagine. The Tower consists of 15 searchlights with prisms that act as mirrors, reflecting the column of light vertically into the sky from a 10-metre wide wishing well.[1] It often reaches cloudbase and indeed can be seen penetrating the cloud cover. On a clear night it appears to reach an altitude of at least 4000m. The power for the lights is provided by Iceland's unique geo-thermal energy grid.[2] It uses approximately 75 kW of power.

Last night I was watching the group Guerrilla Lightning http://guerrillalighting.net

We had a walk to few places to light them up.

This house is where the sculptor Ásmundur Sveinsson was a 20th century man shaped by the 19th century. He took on various subjects in his art; at times looking to his heritage and the age that shaped him, and at others looking to the future, technology, and science. This exhibition showcases contemporary artists that tackle similar issues as Ásmundur did in his time, but in a context of a new age. All though presentation, thought and process might be somewhat different , the struggle is the same in a new century. In addition to Ásmundur's works, the exhibition displays works by Birgir Snæbjörn Birgisson, Davið Örn Halldórsson, Eirún Sigurðardóttir, Finnur Arnar Arnarson, Guðrún Vera Hjartardóttir, Hrafnkell Sigurðsson, Kristín Gunnlaugsdóttir, Ólöf Nordal, Pétur Örn Friðriksson, Sara Riel and Steingrímur Eyfjörð.

This place is from a cozy garden and in the middle of the walls is coming out water, I was impressed with the beautiful sky above
As you can see, we have already a light snow on the earth.

Viðey island is a natural treasure close to the city centre, the sailing just takes 7 minutes from Sundahofn harbour. Viðey is also an important historic site. Archaeological excavations have disclosed that the island was inhabited already in the 10th century. It was the location of an Augustine monastery from 1225 to 1539 and a centre for pilgrimage in the middle ages. Furthermore the island is a very enjoyable place for outdoor recreation. It abounds with bird life, grasses and soft hollows combined with tranquility and the spirit of bygone centuries. Some fine walking paths are scattered invitingly around the island. The beach is a treasure for learning, experiencing and creating.
