Questa cartolina suscita una domanda.
Intanto, i fatti: mio fratello aveva 5 anni, nel 1940. Lui e Dani erano nel paese della nonna paterna come sfollati. L'Italia era entrata in guerra 11 giorni prima: una misura precauzionale per paura dei primi bombardamenti e problemi nella capitale.
Il soggiorno durò un paio di mesi.

La domanda è: chi era Beniamina De Cesaris? Ho ricostruito quasi tutto l'albero genealogico per il ramo della nonna paterna ma questo nome non mi risulta.
Chi mi aiuta?

Although, as of the time of the picture, the Giraffa wasn't "Imperiale" yet, as the title has been given in 1936 for its victory of the "Palio dell'Impero" dedicated to the conquer of the "colonies" and the foundation of the "Italian Empire" in Eastern Africa.
