We stayed for a night in this lovely new hotel in downtown Tianjin. Only 320 kuai per night, for a really big room on the 8th floor. Only the TV was too small, but then again, there's never anything good on TV in China anyway.

This is a picture of the commercially... err culturally famous "Food Street" in Tianjin. The food is good, alright, but they sold me fake cigarettes there. And the restaurant owner was not able to offer us a fapiao. Watch out there. I had the feeling that it's a bit of a tourist trap...

Pudong leaks over...

Image is a collage of different HDR settings, quite crazy layered. Anyway, as you can see, Pudong 'leaks' over to Puxi. Don't you feel, that more and more parts in 'old' Shanghai start to look like Pudong, too?

There's a new area here in Zhabei, Zhabei! And it looks exactly like Pudong. Hope they can save some of that good old Shanghai feeling.
