My sister, her husband, and my niece and nephew at their local river.While the water was cold, the kids did go in for a while. It was very refreshing to put your feet in on a hot day.

Mid April on the Peace river. This day was the first warm day of the spring. There was not a sound, no birds, no insects, just the occasional crack of ice breaking. This was one of the most peaceful places I've ever been. I was there on exactly the right day.
