Chinese ink painting done using a digital camera ... of course it needs some chinese Tang poetry written in running script vertically at the top left hand corner, and to be finished off with one or more red seals at the lower left, aligned of course with the calligraphy.

The young rice seedlings are carefully picked, washed as seen in picture by a swinging movement to remove the soil by kicking it with her right foot, the seedlings are then tied into bundle as seen in foreground, these will then have to be re-planted in adjacent fields on the same day. It is back breaking work, and each tied-up bundle will fetch a labour price of 2 baht.
This is family style subsistence farming, captured in the village of Ban Donwai, Udon Thani, N.E. Thailand.

Phu Phrabat Buabok (Thai: ภูพระบาทบัวบก) is a forest/historical park in Ban Phue district, Udon Thani Province, northeast Thailand.

Named after two Buddha footprints carved into rocks in the Lan Xiang style, the park is located at a disconnected sandstone hill at the eastern edge of the Phu Phan mountains. The hill tops at 352 m above sea level, and extends 9 km in north-south direction and 2 km in east-west direction. Three major kinds of forest are found at the hill - dry dipterocarp forest at the foothills, mixed deciduous forest in the plain surrounding the hill, and dry evergreen forest on the hill itself.

The park covers an area of 13 km² of the Pa Kua Num Forest Reserve. It was officially gazetted 20 February 1996. 5.4 km² of the area form the Phu Phrabat historical park, which was established in 1981, covering the 81 cultural sites on the hill at the rock outcrops.

The indigenous breed of dogs in Thailand are known as "Bang Kaew", a small hunting dog, sometimes with tiger stripes on their rear, they're never on a lesh and will hunt small animals to feed themselves, they are helpers on the farm to watch the cattles and are always alert to their surroudings.
