First let me make it clear that fog is a very rare phenomenon in Wiesbaden.
If you come across several pictures showing parts of the city under such conditions, please be aware of the fact that this is entirely due to one Flickr member who has a habit of stumbling through foggy parks, wielding a heavy Minolta camera whenever there is a chance.
This is not the norm.
Usually, the parks of the Grand ducal palais in Wiesbaden are very pleasant and the Moosburg depicted here is neither spooky nor awe-inspiring.
Actually, it is quite small. There is a duck pond right beside it.

Looks quite peaceful today, but this was the site of the famous battle of Navarino in the Greek war of independence.
I used a polarizer to enhance the black-and white effect (Fuji Velvia).
