Sometimes if one is lucky then one can meet a maiko or geisha in the small streets of Gion in Kyoto. Like this one who was so kind to wait for a few moments so that people like me could take some pictures of her :)

That's my mostly faved picture on flickr, 665 faves up to now. And beside the fact that I've posted it one ago, still almost everyday people came and fave it. For long time it was my most interesting shot on flickr and still it's on place 30 in the interesting list of the 2.5 million pictures tagged with 'Japan'.

Despite of my most viewed picture, the one I posted before, I think it deserves this appreciation, cause reflects on typical everyday scene in Tokyo, the overcrowded trains during the rush hour.

I'm curios if people will like it here, too...
