back from yet another spelunking trip to the outskirts of paris to yet another abandoned hospital. oddly enough the hospital is named after a mr. villemin, a name i am related to. don't you just love such coincidences? here i am wearing shoes i ordered from america a size too small, so they only function as a prop. ouch!

when i see an empty chair i think of absence, a temporary one. the person who left is going to return any minute now. last night i dreamt of someone who has gone but he seemed so real that i questioned the reality of his absence. i still don't know, i cannot differentiate between dream and daydream. in one realm or another we never left each other.
