Another beautiful day last week in Gymnich where we have been at castle Gymnich, enjoyed a beautiful day, watched a bird show and have been at a Ray Wilson concert in the evening.

Went with the car last week to the garage to get the TUEV, but it didn't go through. Problems with the brakes, replacements needed. Had it done right there and got a rental car for that. A smart. I wouldn't want one, nope, not really ;)
Car is fine now, am driving it again since last week and have another two years before the new TUEV is necessary.

An ocean of little flowers, that's what greeted me when I came to our house in Hungary. And some great sunshine since yesterday. Hubby would probably have mowed the lawn right there and then, but a) I was too tired and b) I love it like that ;)

Das hat mich bei meiner Ankunft in Ungarn in unserem Garten begruesst. Mein Maenne haette bestimmt direkt den Rasenmaeher gezueckt, aber a) war ich zu faul und b) find ich's viel zu schoen.

Idee von Wolfgang, Ausfuehrung: muss noch geuebt werden ;)

After a 4 day Stop in Hungary (unpack car and boxes, pack suitcase,...), I went back to Germany to arrange the last things for the dogs and me. This was somewhere in Austria, I think. One Stop on the Highway.
I drove with open windows the whole time, cause it was so hot. But I had to close the back ones after a while, cause King was getting cold and went underneath his blanket ;)

Nach einem 4-taegigen Kurzaufenthalt in Ungarn (Auto ausraeumen, Sachen wegraeumen, Koffer packen,...), bin ich wieder nach Deutschland zurueckgeduest, um die restlichen Dinge fuer Hunde und mich zu erledigen. Dies war glaube ich in Oesterreich. Ein Halt auf der Autobahn.
Ich bin die ganze Zeit mit offenem Fenster und Dach gefahren, da es so warm war. Allerdings hat es King irgendwann so sehr gezogen, dass ich die hinteren Fenster schliessen musste. Er hat sich unter seiner Decke verkrochen ;)

That cable was adapted to my Mom's phone box and laid down on the floor. A so called Internet Hookup. Special made in Germany. Congratulations! And the best thing is, it's NOT for free.....AND doesn't work right.....

Das Kabel war an di Telefonbuchse meiner Mutter angeschlossen und einfach auf den Boden gelegt.
Ein so genannter Internetanschluss.
Spezialanfertigung in Deutschland! Glueckwunsch!
Und das Beste ist, er ist nicht einmal umsonst UND funktioniert nicht richtig bis gar nicht....

Have been in Koblenz this day to get the papers for the dogs and do some sightseeing (pictures will follow one day ;)

Es hat allerdings nicht die Rueckseite gepresst, aber vieelicht war ich ja auch zu bloed ;)

War an diesem Tag in Koblenz um die Papiere von den Hundis fertig zu machen und etwas Tourist zu spielen (Bilder folgen irgendwann ;)

After spending the day in Budapest, walking through the city center, trying to find a Restaurant (which lead us to a scary part of Budapest and no restaurant), after finding a good restaurant called "Pauls Pub" with damned good food (Ribs for Lunch, yummie), some beer and a very good waiter, after an exhausting experience at McDonalds for dinner (the worst service, slow and weird at the M7 - never go there, ever ;), we went to bed quite early.

That was all I needed yesterday, my exhaust "falling apart". The roads here in Hungary really are not nice to your car.
Threw my planning and timetable off a tiny bit.
In the middle of going somewhere there was all off a sudden that loud noise. Mh, glad I have a phone and glad we have some good friends here in Hungary now. One phone call and twenty minutes later I was at a private car shop, that guy looked at it, we made an appointment for the afternoon and a few hours later all was fixed for 15$.
That was quite nice :)

Now I'm a little bit behind with making a photo book from the kids theater so that book can go around and people can check which pics they want to have and I can order them when I come back from Germany.
I still need to do some cleaning around here and some packing. Besides MAKING that book and deliver it ;)

And what am I doing? Sitting here and look at flickr.

So friends, if I'm not around much now and the next few weeks, I will be back, promise, but Germany will be quite exiting, I think :)

All I needed today is another piece of our household that doesn't cooperate. I needed to check the inside of this briefcase and it did not want to open. My fingers hurt and I was frustrated. After hubby gave me the ok, I could give that poor thing it's deserved payback :)

My Mom and I walk every day. Sometimes two sometimes three hours.
Today again and now we are quite tired. Even the dogs sleep well ;)

At this place, up to some years ago, people did cut down the stone to build houses. At some places around here, they are still using the stone to make cement or other stuff.

I had a good day, and you?
"Our" fishing lake is closed right now. They let the water drain and get the fish out, sort them out, put them back in and fill it back up. That takes until Dec. 8th.
So I tricked hubby into going to Haromfa, another lake nearby. And I gotta say, it's beautiful too. They have nice setups around the lake with benches and fireplaces. Nobody was there to charge, but we met a guy we know and he said, for today we could use his friends spot for free. OK. So we did - Thanks :)
The beer we bought in a bar in the village. Life's good :)

Ich hatte einen guten Tag, und Ihr?
"Unser" Angelteisch ist zur Zeit geschlossen. Wasser ablassen, Fische sortieren, Wasser wieder reinlassen. Dauert bis zum 8ten Dezember.
Also habe ich meinen Menne dazu verfuehrt zu einem anderen See in Haromfa zu fahren. Und es war schon schoen da :)
Baenke und Tische rund um den See, Grillplaetze. Das Bier haben wir in einer Kneipe am Ort geholt ;)
Es war niemand zum kassieren da, aber wir haben jemand getroffen, den wir kannten und der meinte wir koennten den Platz seines Freundes fuer heute benutzen :)
