We got a free boat ride on a police boat (nice!) loads of food and drinks and we decided to stay over night. The doggies stayed at the fishing lake and hat a blast too (the Babysitter as well ;)

We had the chance to chat with all these guys later on over some beer and wine until late at night.
Robo (the TV guy) speaks english and the wife of the Flyfisherman did too.

We were trying these new Lurers from Salmo and were lucky quite a few times. Floyd caught three Pike off them and I caught my first one.
Pretty cool :)!

Yepp, I am.
I caught my first Pike (Hecht) yesterday.
Only a baby, but nonetheless my first "real" fish caught with a Lurer from Salmo :)

Only had time to download pics from the last few days and upload this one and we are heading out the door again in a few minutes ;)
Have a great weekend - we will enjoy some good fish later again and hopefully some sunshine. But it looks a bit cloudy and cold...oh well :)

Meanwhile the boys try to retrieve a stuck lurer :)

This is the biggest pike Floyd has brought in so far (2.8 kilos). Their teeth are quite sharp, so he uses some stuff to get the hook out easier.
This one got released safe and sound.

That guy tried to do a promotion for Flyfishing.
But they choose a bad time to do so. Fortthe fishing and the camera man. There was one guy trying to get some film for Duna TV which had to go against the sun and one guytrying to get pictures for a magazine had to switch to the boat,
But both of them got disappointed anyway, cause that poor guy didn't catch any.

No DSL yet,....
I will try the hookup myself today.
They delivered the tools but the technician never called for an appointment.
I've hooked up ISDN once, but not DSL and NOT in Hungarian instructions ;)

Btw. the weather is shitty since Friday. It's raining still, cloudy and cold. But at least it's not as bad as in Rumania, where they had floodings and people got killed :/

Update:

No DSL for us, for whatever reason, we will not get it. Excuse is: They can't change the line.
My idea is: our landlord doesn't want to go through the hassle :(
But the last word about that isn't spoken yet. We will see them and his son in a few days for signing a new contract (only half year this time anyways....)
