At least, yesterday it was.
The sun was burning for two days, rain and storm during the nights. Almost summer like.
Hubby and I went for walks each day, I'm trying to finish my tefl certificate in time (I have until end of January), so I'm not around much lately.
I'll be visiting you all more soon again. More about the reason in a short while.
Take care out there and have a beautiful weekend!

We went for a nice, long walk in sunshiny weather again today.
It really does feel like Spring time already.
We saw a rabbit, a deer and a pheasant. Nature is so beautiful over here.
I jokingly told King (our Labrador) to go and get the rabbit, because I wanted to make a Video of the little one (JoJo, our Dachshund) and the yelping sounds she makes when she runs after him and tries to catch up with him. Well, there really was a rabbit and I captured a nice hunt :)
They didn't get the rabbit, so don't worry ;)
I will see, how long it will take to upload it one YouTube. It's my first try with that. I've used Vimeo before.
I will link it when I manage to get it up.

My flickr uploadr is not cooperating, I wonder why. I need to restart this damn computer, I guess. Had a scary blue screen a few times as well. Can't find any infection though :/

We went to "our" fishing lake and enjoyed a beautiful, sunshiny day and lots of beer :)
After they closed down we went with the owner to a close by Pizzeria and had some good Schnitzels.
It's always fun. He doesn't speak either English or German and we don't speak Hungarian, but we still manage to communicate.

After spending the day in Budapest, walking through the city center, trying to find a Restaurant (which lead us to a scary part of Budapest and no restaurant), after finding a good restaurant called "Pauls Pub" with damned good food (Ribs for Lunch, yummie), some beer and a very good waiter, after an exhausting experience at McDonalds for dinner (the worst service, slow and weird at the M7 - never go there, ever ;), we went to bed quite early.

I've finally managed to visit a site where they show wood carvings. I was always wondering what it is they exactly do there. Pictures of those things will come tomorrow.

That was all I needed yesterday, my exhaust "falling apart". The roads here in Hungary really are not nice to your car.
Threw my planning and timetable off a tiny bit.
In the middle of going somewhere there was all off a sudden that loud noise. Mh, glad I have a phone and glad we have some good friends here in Hungary now. One phone call and twenty minutes later I was at a private car shop, that guy looked at it, we made an appointment for the afternoon and a few hours later all was fixed for 15$.
That was quite nice :)

Now I'm a little bit behind with making a photo book from the kids theater so that book can go around and people can check which pics they want to have and I can order them when I come back from Germany.
I still need to do some cleaning around here and some packing. Besides MAKING that book and deliver it ;)

And what am I doing? Sitting here and look at flickr.

So friends, if I'm not around much now and the next few weeks, I will be back, promise, but Germany will be quite exiting, I think :)

All I needed today is another piece of our household that doesn't cooperate. I needed to check the inside of this briefcase and it did not want to open. My fingers hurt and I was frustrated. After hubby gave me the ok, I could give that poor thing it's deserved payback :)
