After a 4 day Stop in Hungary (unpack car and boxes, pack suitcase,...), I went back to Germany to arrange the last things for the dogs and me. This was somewhere in Austria, I think. One Stop on the Highway.
I drove with open windows the whole time, cause it was so hot. But I had to close the back ones after a while, cause King was getting cold and went underneath his blanket ;)

Nach einem 4-taegigen Kurzaufenthalt in Ungarn (Auto ausraeumen, Sachen wegraeumen, Koffer packen,...), bin ich wieder nach Deutschland zurueckgeduest, um die restlichen Dinge fuer Hunde und mich zu erledigen. Dies war glaube ich in Oesterreich. Ein Halt auf der Autobahn.
Ich bin die ganze Zeit mit offenem Fenster und Dach gefahren, da es so warm war. Allerdings hat es King irgendwann so sehr gezogen, dass ich die hinteren Fenster schliessen musste. Er hat sich unter seiner Decke verkrochen ;)

Caught this one last night while fishing. It's the lake on the other side of "our lake".
Right now you have bunches of Carp jumping there. I try to catch a shot of them today, it's amazing!
We are on the run again. In a few minutes we get ready to go over there and fish a bit ourselves and watch Andreas do some flyfishing :)
It's a holiday over here today, so there will be quite a few people, I guess.

I can't bitch about our 2006. Overall it was a good year, especially the last half :)

Russia and Belarus have reached a deal for the Gas contract yesterday, so we will not sit in the cold.
Good news.

Romania and Bulgaria have joined the European Union today/last night.
The approximate income in Romania is 200,- Euro. How they gonna survive, I don't know.
Maybe with a welfare system like here in Hungary, that at least seems to guaranty a sort of survival.
I wish them the Best of Luck though!

Saddam's dead. I still have mixed feelings about the right of humankind to kill someone or not, but in this case I tend to say, he deserved it, sorry.

The taxes got raised in Germany. I'm sure this will be good for the economy (attention: Irony at work).
Times haven't changed since a big, fat chancellor a few years ago mentioned that Germany has to adjust the belt tighter.

No DSL yet,....
I will try the hookup myself today.
They delivered the tools but the technician never called for an appointment.
I've hooked up ISDN once, but not DSL and NOT in Hungarian instructions ;)

Btw. the weather is shitty since Friday. It's raining still, cloudy and cold. But at least it's not as bad as in Rumania, where they had floodings and people got killed :/

Update:

No DSL for us, for whatever reason, we will not get it. Excuse is: They can't change the line.
My idea is: our landlord doesn't want to go through the hassle :(
But the last word about that isn't spoken yet. We will see them and his son in a few days for signing a new contract (only half year this time anyways....)
