I took a walk in the mountainside above Isafjordur few weeks ago and took this picture. It was very chilly but I always like the view of my hometown when it is getting dark :o)

The last picture from that night. All the Northern Lights were gone but I took one more, just checking for how long I could keep the finger on the shutter. I lasted 122 seconds, it was really cold, more than -10 degrees ;o)

but still no sun :o) I visited this place yesterday for the first time in over 30 years and yet it is not more than 15 minutes drive away from my home. It was raining but I will surely go there again in the summer when the sun will be shining and I can walk barefoot in the sand :o)

Today the sun finally showed it self here in Isafjordur after many weeks of waiting. I quit work early and went out to see the sun and take some pictures. Here is the first one. It was a beautiful day, but still very cold :o)

My daughter, Maria Lind, and I went hiking yesterday, looking for something beautiful to take pictures of. She was the prettiest thing I saw in the whole trip :-)
