He's on the &lt;a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/c/commonscoter"&gt;UK RSPB Red list&lt;/a&gt; as his numbers have halved in my lifetime. Of the wild ones, &lt;a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.nixonbyname.com/"&gt;Chris Nixon&lt;/a&gt; is the likeliest to see them as he's resident up in the Scotland. This chap lives in Arundel in Sussex.
