Sometimes the most amazing pictures come from where you least expect them. This is in my yard. It was right under my nose and I never noticed it before. The vine (wild grapes) is not mine, though enough of it is in my yard now and I'm letting it grow. The fence is not mine either, and goes back to the original owner of the house. My father used to call it a cattle fence, and was glad when the second owner removed most of it. This small piece of fence has survived through two more owners.

I like the facial expression of the vine as it looks like it's enjoying it's rusty meal.

Many trees (including several hundred year old pines and oaks) have been slaughtered at the Hammonton Lake, to make room for more parking.

What kind of example does this show to the kids, especially when there is a church directly across the street?

This is a typical animal position. He's hoping that he blends in with the tree and I can't see him. What he doesn't know is that only his tail blended in with the tree, and that he's actually posed for the camera.
