I don't exactly know, how to put this in words: After the sun had set around 4.20 pm, you had all shades of red, orange, yellow and white on the western sky. To the east, the full moon had become visible, illuminating everything in all shades of black and blue (the dot to its lower left is Venus). It was pure magic! I got chills all over from looking at this intense beauty! It was so special and a first for me... Technically: I know, it's not all sharp and pristine. But I was so cold and my blood circulation didn't come back for some reason, so my fingers got real cold, to the extent that I became afraid of permanent frostbite. Later on, I warmed them in the car, but the pain from the blood coming back was excruciating. So forgive me for camera shake...

I went skating in a different location today: Maisinger See, which is a little swamp and a protected landscape in the area where I live, called Fuenfseenland. I've never come here, although I knew of this lake. So I had to go and check it out. In the background, you can see the Alpine mountains.
