today I made some tests and some practice for some photos for work... and at the end of the day I saw a funny face on the flash....he seemed a bit dizzy .. maybe I overworked him :)

on Wednesday I was busy from morning till dawn...
luckily the night before I found in a store something that I haven't had for a long time...since I was very young ...a bar of Glucose ...gave me the energy for that day..

The trees looked so weird..I didn't noticed before that they are so tilted,maybe the also tilted man, he was a bit "too happy", accentuated that....

I wonder what he was writing on his phone...and where he was going..how he got there...
... just a story I saw on my way back home...

After desperately looking for the ingredients in 4 major stores ...in the evening we successfully managed to make sushi :)
First time I made and ate sushi..and it was great!

Don't forget..if you put funny moments and some smileys in the sushi rolls they will turn out great!

When I arrived home last night I was overwhelmed by a childhood flavour...in the oven there were a few slices of pumpkin that were baking for a while...they were already crisp and flavory...and had that golden caramel color...
Since I was little mom used to make baked pumpkin with a sprinkle of sugar above....:)

Sunday I made a bit of cleaning in my memory boxes :) ..and I carefully placed my recent birthday cards from this year... and I had to show everybody the funniest one from my dear Ramona and Mihai :)

The idea ...two colorful socks and a bunch of funny stickers at our services... everyone joined in and put their mark on this amazing work of art...:)

This Saturday was a lovely sunny warm and beautiful one ...so we decided to go to a small trip to a not so popular place ..but a very quiet and beautiful one...Floresti village near Ploiesti city, Prahova...There are some ruins of an old palace ..Cantacuzino's Palace.. cool place..I'll show you later more photos from there but when we arrived there in front of the entrance there were two goats that looked like they were dying for some modeling shots :)

..this was a very special night..good friends..nice place...a few laughs.....cake :)... some girl talk....aaaaaand this was the first night out for my new camera: Canon 500D ..aka Cookie :) .... so stay tuned ..I'm just getting the hang of it :)

Day 80...funny city...

Here in Bucharest yesterday and today the subway workers were on strike...yeahh yey for us.. so... the underground public transportation was blocked until 4 p.m. in the evening.. so the mornings were a bit more difficult for lots and lots of people... the buses and trams were more than full and there were lots of traffic jams...
Yesterday I used my bike so it was very nice and relaxing :) And today my sister offered to give me a ride to work with her car ( thanks :) ) ..while waiting for the traffic lights to turn green I saw the bus next to us... and I instantly smiled when I saw these two funny drawings on the window of that bus...
That's what keeps us going, I think....hope and humor... :)

So it was a funny morning...in a gray and jammed city....

were soooo beautiful... I got my first birthday present... and probably the best one this year I think...:)
the wrapping was very carefully made and in a very beautiful and funny way... loooved it... the above hat is part of that present ;;) ...so thank you very much for everything :*

in a few minutes I'll be 23 years old... but today I read something that put a smile on my face and gave me hope.. and that was: Growing old is mandatory....Growing up is optional ! ...True, right ? :D

Today went to a big new mall that opened a few days ago in Bucharest...it's near this subway station....whenever we pass this station we say it's the Prism station because the pattern from the pillars resemble the Nokia Prism telephone..I know..it's silly... :P
