how imaginative you are. I was surprised to see frost on the glass,

myself.

Lost an Isotoner so I dug out my 9 yr-old fleese gloves and their 9 yrs of dirty :(

Ironically, this bus stop is in a very middleclass neighboorhood.

Regardless, I agree with the sentiment of the "artist" behind the

graffiti. Too bad Bloomberg is so rich he'll never have to leave office.

When I bought my MacBook 2 springs ago, I should have sprung for the

MacBook Pro.

What's funny is that I had a conversation with a professional editor

back then about which Intel Mac to go with and he told me that the top-

of-the-line MacBook should be fine for me, assuming I was never going

to cut HD with it!

...sigh...

Nearly three years later HD cams are super cheap and I technically own

three (I won the two pocket HD cams, but you get my point). Now I have

a machine that works fine for everything but what I now use it chiefly

for.

Ah, Irony!

...if only you weren't so... ironic...

Windows 7 runs fine on it but the poor thing gags on HD.

Please, Santa, I know I'm an atheist, but if you're really out there,

please bring me a MacBook Pro for Christmas. I'll be at my dad's and

he'll have a tree and everything! I'll make sure he leaves out the

tastiest cookies and milk for ya. No more curdled milk like last year

(good thing you left it alone!)

I could have taken a lot more--EP was the easiest non-Mac OS I've

installed but installing didn't go 100% smoothly (as a couple of the

pics show). But in the end I got it running just fine and actually

love it. Thanks to the Easy Peasy folks for putting this thing together!

I am ready to celebrate, believe me, but until I type the words "THE

END" following at least a chapter of wind-down which, in itself,

follows a HUGELY DRAMATIC climax, it's not done. Which kind of sucks

from my perspective. This is because every year I've attempted

National Novel Writing Month, I've either finished markedly early or

failed spectacularly. In 2006, I finished a week early. In 2007 I

finished two days early. Last year, I got about a week in and gave

up. What I'm getting at here is that I still may not make it!! The

goal is to have a finished first draft by midnight November 30.

That's Monday night. While I know it's possible I'll finish in

time...

...I honestly don't know if I *will* make it.
