Maybe some things will never change. Some, like our admiration for nature, and also comparison with it, regardless of being vegetal or animal elements. Simbology. Traditions? Human mind? Shouldn't we just compare with ourselves?

Quizá algunas cosas no cambien nunca. Algunas, como nuestra admiración por la naturaleza, y el compararnos con ella, ya sean elementos vegetales o animales. Simbología. ¿Tradiciones? ¿Mente humana? ¿No deberíamos compararnos tan sólo con nosotros mismos?

Even the most beautiful monuments, and even in Italy, look better with some decoration. Even more if it is with nature, as they are elements of life. In the case of people, ... it is undoubtadly human warmth what gives always the best. As it has been in Milan, in my visit to Giorgio and Marina's home.

Hasta los más bonitos monumentos, e incluso en Italia, resultan mejor con alguna decoración. Más si es con naturaleza, al ser elementos de vida. En el caso de la gente, ... es sin lugar a dudas el calor humano lo que da lo mejor siempre. Así ha sido en Milán, ... en mi visita al hogar de Giorgio y Marina.

Como en casi toda la naturaleza, ... verde. Verde es la esperanza, como verde es la vida. Siempre cambio, cuando estos colore me rodean. Simplemente, porque es vida lo que siento.

I was walking with Piet, a great person (both in size and soul). We were both sweating, enduring the heat, wishing for shadows that didn't exist. In a moment, we both looked up, and surprised us such a smile!!! We both burst into such a laughter that we forgot all our problems.
Low moments are always the most suitable for a good smile. And such a smile always gives the necessary hope to keep on going.

Caminaba con Piet, una gran persona (en tamaño y en alma). Los dos sudábamos, aguantando el calor, desando ver sombras que no existían. En un momento, miramos al frente y esta sonrisa nos sorprendió. Rompimos a reir de tal forma que todos nuestros males desaparecieron.
Los momentos bajos son siempre los mejores para una buena sornisa. Y una sonrisa así siempre nos da la esperanza necesaria para seguir adelante.

It's wrinkles. It's that what reflects the pass of time in each living thing. Time. Each wrinkle is a remind of a smile, of an experience, of a learning. By the way, the best wrinkles are those of the smile :-) Leaves give us their colors instead.

Son arrugas. Son lo que reflejan el paso del tiempo en cada ser vivo. Tiempo. Cada arruga es un recuerdo de una sonrisa, de una experiencia, de un aprendizaje. Por cierto, las mejores arrugas son las de la sonrisa :-) Las hojas nos ofrecen su color.

It's autumn. Some trees endure cold as much as they can. They're more resistant. And what's intensity compared to resistance? Resistance is slow, but it goes further. Slow things are the ones we remember most. As this leaves, still to be seen.

Es otoño. Algunos árboles aguantan el frío lo que pueden. Son más resistentes. ¿Y qué es la intensidad comparada con la resistencia? La resistencia es lenta, pero llega más lejos. Las cosas lentas son de las que más nos acordamos. Como estas hojas, que aún se dejan ver.

There's always warmth in a home, as much as to always remember it. The way it looks, the smells, and so much more ...! That gives part of our personal culture. I'm always amazed at birds, travelling so long, seeking for their known warmth.

Siempre hay calidez en un hogar, como para recordarlo siempre. Su aspecto, sus olores, y ¡tantas cosas más ...! Eso da parte de la cultura personal. Siempre me sorprenderé de los pájaros, recorriendo tanta distancia, buscando esa conocida calidez.

There are some trees that somehow manage to resist winter colds. And not only they manage, but even quite well, as this one with its colors.
Maybe it's an invitation to look for the best inside us, and keep it under any circumstances.

Hay algunos árboles que de alguna forma se apañan para resistir los fríos del invierno. Y no sólo se apañan, sino que además, bastante bien, como este árbol, con sus colores.
Quizá es una invitación a buscar lo mejor de nosotros, y mantenerlo en cualquier circunstancia.
