Rose provides painless, smooth Indian massage treatments in an Amsterdam massage practice. But today it is Queen's Day and she offers her service like many others on the overcrowded street.

The photographer's friend Jerome (alias JeromesPOV) took a picture about a Greenpeace campaign against coal-fired power stations (titled as "Floating Carbs" ). Greenpeace says that coal is the most polluting way of generating electricity because of the high output of carbon dioxide, which is a greenhouse gas.

When the photographer saw this construction site in his neighbourhood, he thought for a brief moment about a CO2-free alternative...

"Ik Wil [...] Kruidnoten" (I want kruidnoten)

Kruidnoten are Dutch cookies traditionally eaten during the Saint Nicholas season. They looks like small pebbles and are hard like granite. The photographer has already ruined his teeth with kruidnoten. And he wouldn't be surprised if the fish is a kruidnoten victim.

The photographer lives in a 90 years old house.

Apart from a black cat* in the front yard (who loves to scare humans) and a grey mouse inside the house (who loves chocolate), he also has to deal with ghosts. Annoyingly, they love to play a sort of knock-a-window-run game. The photographer hides under his blanket when this happens.

* The camera has failed to capture the black cat by night, but the photographer will keep on trying.
