I just couldn't resist the sun setting behind the trees here on a small island in the middle of the lake called "Mouse Island". Would you believe: There is actually quite a mansion and a few smaller houses built on it and people live there. There's a wooden bridge connecting the island with the west bank of the lake. Also, the tennants there have little boats, which they affectionally call "mouse shuttle" ;-) Neat, isn't it? :D

... that's what it sounded like to my little boy's ears, when I cautiously plucked a string on my uncle's guitar at age 3 or so. It leant against the wall in my grandparents' living room and I was fascinated with it (notice, how other toys are immediately forgotten, when I discovered the guitar).
Anyway - I guess, that's when I fell in love with the guitar.

My friend Wolfram was so kind as to pick me up from the airport when returning from a short business trip (and to drive me there, too). On the way back to his flat, we came by this odd natural spectacle and he'd stop, so I could grab the camera from the trunk and take the picture.

I dedicate yet another one of "my" sunsets to the return of an old friend, whom I lost sight of for a while: Happiness - coming back at me at a strength not seen previously. My little "power spot" on Woerthsee saw unleished winds and kind of stormy conditions a few days ago. Looking at this now, the weather feels/felt like a precursor to events too huge for me to wrap my mind around yet. Hence, I'll stick with allusions for now. More to come when it does... ;-)

I had always meant to check out a recording studio complex in my vicinity. The place is called "Red Rooster Studios" and was founded by an Rumanian ex-pat musician now living in Germany. He also runs a charity taking care of children traumatized by the effects of wars having taken place in their home country and who got orphaned or maimed or simply emotionally traumatized by the events.
This was taken from somewhere in his backyard.
