In testa porta unsombrero,con le mani stringe intorno a sé un poncho:appare sorpreso,forse un po' in imbarazzo per l'attenzionedel fotografo. Siamo in Messico e lo scatto è opera di un genio della fotografia: un autore che ha fatto la storiadel ritratto, oltre ad essere il padre del fotogiornalismo.L'uomo con il sombrero forse non sapeva chi aveva davanti.All'epoca Cartier-Bresson era un giovane fotografo.Era il 1934 quando per la prima volta andò in Messico. Poi, nel 1963, quasi trent'anni dopo, volle tornarci, giàda affermato fotografo.
