James Dodd has added a post:

http://digg.com/tech_news/Zooomr_Running_out_of_Storage_Space_According_to_JUploadr_org

According to the guys over at juploadr.org, zoomr is running out of storage space.

This information has come to light after their API (Application Programming Interface) Key hasn't been re-enabled.The reason for this is apparently:

Due to their rapidly shrinking disk space, which is what I expected. Re-enabling jUploadr would make it very easy for everyone to upload many photos at once, and then Zooomr would grind to a halt

[juploadr.org - Zooomr Update 3 - July 8th 2007]

This news surely can't be good for a company flourishing after the flickr's censorship debacles of late.

There are however plans to combat the disc shortage as "Sun has promised Zooomr some hardware to remedy this problem", tho its yet to happen leaving anyone who's not in the dark of the situation probably a little worried.

First time I tried to do a batch of a load of stuff and after uploading about 80MB nothing happened, the thing said "Waiting for server"?

2nd time it completed but my stuff never showed up?

3rd time, it worked... tho it took absolutely ages! I watched as the upload finished, but then it seemed to just start again??? weird!

Anyway! I've uploaded! Yey!
