lightsandshadow has added a post:

I feel like I'm still new to all of this, photography I mean, but I've been doing it for many years now. I've always dreamed of producing work that I always look back on and like.

One main cause for my photographic curiosity is to preserve my family's history through images. At one point we lost a great many photos of relatives that will never be recovered. I've always felt a that was a great loss so I make up for it by taking volumes of photos at every chance I get.

I'm ever evolving and trying new themes and ideas. The human body fascinates me to no end.

"Words don’t flow from me as easily as I once had done in High School and College. I don’t get as much time to write too often these days. I guess I could do more journaling but in the end all that day-to-day entry starts to sound like a soap opera. Even though I’ve written it and know the intention, it comes off as whining most of the time. We all need an outlet to vent I guess. The one thing I think about is leaving the journal some place and having loved ones open it up and read it after I’m dead. Oh how dreary that would be. I’d come off as some whiny wimp. I can see the words now on my head stone. Here lies the Whiny Wimp. Never spoke up but apparently he complained about everything and everyone in his life. Rest in Peace, Chump!"

I came here just looking to expand my visual knowledge of photography and to hopefully get to know some new talented Artists that I may not have seen before. So far I like what I see and the experience of being here.

Feel free to say Hi and browse my work. Thank You!
