Personal computors is getting closer and closer to us, I mean they are getting just like robots who serve us ;-) or we are getting to be controled them?

Ayway I compared Win 7 and Snow Leopard.

The following are points given to them.

Windows Explorer vs Mac Finder 1 pt : 1 pt

Win File view vs Quick Look 1 pt: 3pt -Quick Look is wonderful

Win Task bar vs Mac doc 2 : 1 - Windows Task bar is better!

Win system tray vs Mac menu bar 2 : 0 - I hate Mac menu bar.

Win backup vs Time Machine 1 : 3 - Time Machine is the one to keep my back up data.

I believe no one catch up with this wonderful feature.

Win Aero peek vs Expose 3 : 0 - You know? Win Aero peek is overwhelming!

but....... In terms of screen design 1 : 3

So total scores Win :11 vs Mac :11

It is Draw :-)

Coda & FireFTP & WordPress really fit my needs!

So far I've been used Adobe DreamWeaver for coding HTML & CSS,

also used NextFTP as uploader.

with WindowsXP.

Why I know about Dreamweaver? I took Flash & HTML class 4 years ago.(after work) and the tutor recommended to me to use.

Since last October I've switched into Coda for coding,

and FireFTP, which is one of Firefox tool operated online.

with Mac Leopard.

About blog, 3 years from now, I had used a free blog tool given by hosting service for my private web site. But the templates are limited there.

So I tried to use WordPress which allows me to change CSS and bg images.

I have not found any big gap between XP and Leopard so far.

CODA is excellent!!

Although Dreamweaver has more capabul features and performance,

in terms of coding HTML & CSS, I can't find any disadvantage of CODA.

I think if you making codes as hobby, you don't need a pack of features.

Coding tag work space, CSS work space, directry window, preview windw, tag library

and Build in Terminal could meet all your needs, I swear!

Moreover CODA is 4 times less expensive than Dreamweaver.

NextFTP and Fetch is share wear but ...FireFTP is free tool avairable to get if you are a Firefox user ;-)

WordPress...this blog tool is also wonderful! I love it!

Many templates(themes) to choose from, better and faster evertime newer version appears.Whatever your server is, you can install it as long as your sever is allows to do it.

The reason why I prefer, it is because this tool has been repeated changing itself.

Thechanges well and beautifully.

Camera, Computer, TV, Car, sofwear, Whatever it is, I love something going forward attractively.

So many places to choose from and my time is limited.(I am going to meet one of iper contact and his friends there at lunch or night time)

Actually I had no idea about Paris.

Because France itself has been so far from my lifestyle, no French people here(Nagoya, Japan), no information from my friends and folks visited overseas, no elements about France except a few restaurants.

How about art museum and the street around there?

I remember I saw a movie "LA REINE MARGOT" , historical and bloody movie.

but ...I saw many tips in it.

This place is also used for Da Vinci Code (Unfortunately I was too busy to understand the story and trick and missed others but...).

OK.

I am going to Louvre, this time, day time.

It takes me Pl.de Concorde, Av.des Champs-Elysees and Arc de Triomphe.

Because they are connected.

It makes us operate more faster and easier, Yes, I know.

Finding Chinese characters with mouse pad, easily, Yes, I've got you.

iChat would be more faster with Snow Leopard, Sorry, I don't use iChat.

Time Machine goes better with Snow Leopard, Sorry, I haven't got the exterminal hard disk,yet. USB memory keeps my data.

More sequre to access with Mobie server, Sorry, I haven't got iPhone,yet.

Maybe I should be more closer to Mac , I mean use my Mac more, before new purchase...;))))

The begining was a link someone left on my Flickr page with his comment which brings me here.

I did not know new type of SNS in Europe. Of course it has many in common with other SNS but...I've kept it more than 1 year.

That is really rare thing. So...ipernity is special for me. I have 54,930 visits now :-)

That's is rare thing for me.

The other hand, I wonder this is the wave of the future or just a passing fad.

These days I feel like less people use SNS everyday.

How many people prefer using iPhone to regular phone?

The number of users is increasing, I guess.

Some people say iPhone disturbs you from receiving a call due to listening your favorite playlist.

No doubt.

Music is more than everything, especially when we have nothing to do outside ;-)

On the way to work, wating for train comes, people etc,etc.

But..carrying mobile typed computer with me all the time is trouble.

Net surfing though the celluar is doesn't fit my needs. Besides it is kind of tiring to bring ３ gadgets (phone, iPod, radio) with me. I prefer "All in One"

Camera is getting a human's daily friend but ...unfortunatly it is NOT included above. Photograph is to be born from Camera.

It is 3:00 am in Japan.

Just finished the assignment (I take English class of the local langage Junior college for adults on Sunday), scripts of the speech.

In this case, the following steps are required.

#1 Collect necessary materials (Japanese) first, and read and understand it.

#2 Then, Put the points together.

#3 Make scripts in Japanese.

#4 Get to work for "Express #3 in English"

At the #4, I set up my brain in the Englsh mode.

#4 is tough one and I exhaust myself by that work.

Encoding is to change analog signal to the signal in digital style.

Encoding might understand my present feeling certainly ;-)

Frankly, Honestly that work is tiring......

Because the word can be expressed in English is really limited.

Although I have my idea, I can't express what I want to say in small English I have.

My Englsh cuts in half all of my idea, my feeling and my opinion.

Things would be much better if I understood whole at the #1 step and write down without "Encoding"

I wouldn't mind #4 step. (Language version of Encording )

If it is possible, all listeners and visitors might understand more about me......

Japanese

Japanese, Mother language is used by only Japanese people and others who need it in the business by trading with Japanese company.

I and many people need Englsih desperately when we go out.

It is same when I am in ipernity.

Who reads the post written in Japanese?

My post will end up with a diary in the secret drawer of the basement.

Since this spring I am supposed to do the work which make documents after checking statistics, numerical value and CAD drawing and taking communication with the designers and the developers inspite of my favor.

To tell you the truth, I don't want to study language ; another script operation after work.

Moreover, I hate to have a week for 6 days of work & study and 1 free day.

However everyone in this world needs money to get meaningful holiday.

No one deny photography and traveling needs money,too.

And also I want to communicate with people I met here in ipernity.

So I will keep studying English.

German? ...Hmmm....maybe...Humm...some other day, I don't know.

Anyway time is shorter than I need.

If only I had 30 hours per one day!．．．

こういう場合は次の4ステップが必要。

#1 まず必要な資料（日本語）を集めて、読んで理解する。

このモード切り替えはけっこう消耗する。

正直言って疲れる．．．。

英語だと表現できる言葉が限られてくる。

思考はあっても私の持っている少ない英語ではどうしても表現しきれない。

#1のステップから英語で理解して、英語で書くことが同時にできたのなら

#4のステップは必要ないし、

伝えたいことがそのまま聞き手に伝わると思うのに．．．

日本語

私の母国語である日本語は基本的に日本人と仕事で日本と取引している外国人しか使わない。

外に出れば英語が必要になる。

ipernityでもそれは同じ。

日本語で投稿して誰が読むというのだろう？

誰も訪問しなければ、

私が書いた記事は誰も知らない引き出しの日記帳になる。

この春から数値や図面を見ながら、

設計者や開発者とコミュニケーションをとって

文章を書き起こす仕事をすることになった。

これがしたかったことではないけれど．．．。

言葉に関わる仕事をした後に、帰宅してから言語の勉強をするのは

本音を言えばやりたくない。

もっと言うと、仕事と勉強の６日間と1日の休日は嫌だ。

でも有意義な休日を過ごすにはお金が必要。

写真や旅をするにはお金が必要。

それとipernityで知り合った人たちともっともっと話したい。

だから英語の勉強は続けようと思う。

ドイツ語？　うーん、どうしようかな？

それにしても時間が足りない。

一日が30時間だったらいいのに．．．

.htaccess made me crazy!!!

I am still awake.

Because .htaccess file has kept me from sleeping, REALLY!

A couple days ago, I've changed my server into the one in safe mode,which disturbs you re-write the files.

That server uses not a module edition PHP but CGI.

I use WordPress.

So I tried to make something "Move only a designated file by using PHP as CGI."

and put it into the same directry as "upload.php"

Because if all is moved as CGI, a start movement becomes slow.

And I wrote ".htaccess" and uploaded.




AddHandler application/x-httpd-phpcgi .php








 I think I am smart.

But it didn't work.

....why?

...tried,again

....once more

....not again..

Finally I did it, almost over the midnight. pffff

Reason: wrong character encoding...that's all.

:))))))))))

PS. Mac OS is less useful when I want to make something special in my computer.

Ah....Tough day I need a holiday. Go out tomorrow.

Wish to join " iper international meeting" but.. Obstacle in front.

You know, I've already failed to join iper international meeting since last year.

Last February, it was opened in Berlin, many people joined, took wonderful pictures.

I couldn't join..because I coudn't be ready to meet people who I've just got to know on line.

(mental reason)

Last October, it was opened in Barcelona, some contacts I really want to see directly joined, they seemed to have a wonderful time there, enjoyed tasty sea food (looks like),too.

I couldn't join...because I didn't have enough time.

(no free time)

This coming April, it will be opened in France, picturesque Cote D'Azur, some of my contacts will join it, I am sure it must be a fantastic meeting.

At the begining, I thought I can't due to previous trip to Europe since the flight gets higher at that time.

However I found I could get a flight to arrive and depart from the airport apart from my city ,which makes me really overjoyed.

BUT ... since this year, most of Japanese companies cut off employees due to depression.

"Your desk might disappered while you are on the way to France, Because we don't need people who are not here when we need."

My boss said. Not joke. Many people lost thier jobs here.

I know Myspace and Facebook but...never heard of this.

I can't find any specific points of a service.

As for Friendster's being different from other SNS, it is to gather new members (the member's personal association relations that it follows).

The characteristics of Friendster to do like this and which is formed are completely separated with the member in the outside related to the personal association.

All of the members don't separate division of each other, and it can't get along, but it can get along only inside the cluster (sub, community) that it multiplied from the personal human relations.

It means, the users feel comfortable to meet new people,

because they think,

"A human being in the same cluster is comparatively trustworthy." or "The probability which a taste, a taste, and so on correspond to is high."

Really?

btw...this Japanese version is ..ppp...poor and worse than mine, which makes me feel more confident.

My computer has been in trouble.

Although I have noticed to change some parts because of the noise, he (my computer) was too impatient.

Anyway when I came back to my room, he had gone.(BROKE)

I found it better to buy new one rather than fixing the scrap after checking a pre-repair charge.

Besides my main mail address seems to be infected by virus.

Not for sure that virus broke my machine. Maybe...it is a just timing to fix,but too late.

I won't regret my choice but...I should have printed out some important imformation.

Ah...I am afraid that the back up data might have been infected,too.

Need more patience until the comming pay day.

Mac X Leopard.....Just thinking to buy it as next one:-)

2) ichat system.

3) However it is included #1, Fider reduces time to find doc.

The professor teaching me (in the colledge) said

"English is Global communication tool and it helps you to find a nice job.

Esperanto is used be an global communicaton but nowadays it is to waste time to Esperanto"

Nevertheless, why people who got interested in this language and came here?

The following are 3 Esperantos in view results answered kindly to my abrupt question.

"Why do you learn Esperanto? Easy to learn? or Against English? "

#1 Lodchjo

Well, you probably know about Microsoft and Linux,

the first is very commercial, the second is more open-minded,

global-minded, made and used by a group of idealists and volunteers.

It's a bit similar with Esperanto: we don't learn it for commerical benefit

(even though merchandizing and business exists),

we learn it for several reasons, for some people there's only 1 of these reasons,

for others, several reasons may apply:

- Some learn it out of curiosity

- Some learn it for cheap and easy traveling

(that's how I started)

- Some learn it for idealism,

because they believe in a better world when people can communicate better with the neutral,

independant language Esperanto.

- some learn it from their parents, e.g. I know a Japanese-Czech couple, where partners didn't speak

each other's language; they met through Esperanto and passed the language onto their children.

I read somewhere: If you want money, learn English. If you want friends, learn Esperanto.

I think that it's very true.

Of course, when traveling alone, I use English in the railway stations, shops,

in those countries of which I don't speak the language, and people will try to help me.

But I noticed several times, English didn't help, e.g. in Poland, Hungary, Spain, Japan,

many people don't speak English.

And sometimes I really needed help,

e.g. in Hungarian railway station, in a Spanish pharmacy,

It's an illusion everybody speaks English.

Of course, highly educated people who travel a lot, speak English,

some better than other, but people in smaller towns and villages is another thing.

First: it's difficult to study English.

Second: they don't use it often, so they forget what they studied at school.

6 years of study for learning complicated grammar, orthography and lots of exceptions.

One can learn Esperanto much faster and use the time to do other things.

I am not against English as a language, just against the English hegemony.

It's very unfair that the whole world should study the language of another people,

While the whole world spends years of study to learn this difficult language.

They also spend a lot of money for English books and literature...

and their culture is penetrated by the other's culture.

They don't have to study another people's language.

They can do a lot of other things during these years.

And they don't have to buy foreign language books,

they can even produce them and export them massively all over the world.

So they have a double economical benefit.

Plus they have another benefit: in discussions, meetings, English speaking people are much stronger in debates than other people, who don't know the finesses, terminology, colloquialisms, allusions of the English language.

And they don't have the swift-answer-reflexes English master very well.

This is another benefit for the English.

For me, it's very interesting and enlightening to meet people from many different countries

and cultures, I can read novels from an african author, or the Icelandic Edda, or Kawabata in Esperanto, who are often not translated into smaller languages, such as Dutch.

And most Esperantopeople are very kind, helpful, open-minded, though - of course, we also have our

emotions and weak points, just like any-one, so sometimes we have disputes too,

but I find more advantages than disadvantages, so I keep it up.

#2 Lars Sözüer

I can not add much to what Lode already wrote; I agree with him on all of his points.

I just want to mention my very personal reason for using Esperanto:

My father is form Turkey, but my parents raised me in German only.

I used to tell myself that I will not repeat my father's fault and raise my children bilingually if I should have any. With Turkish as the second language, that is.

But when my wife became pregnant, I had to occupy seriously with the idea.

I had learnt Turkish only as an adult, and I could get around in Turkey without problems,

but my knowledge was still far from the level I felt was necessary to give it to my children.

Alina was already 3 months old, and I had given up bilinguality,

when my wife met some Esperanto speaker and started to learn the language.

I had already learned it once several years before this,

but I never had thought of using it as a family language.

Then we read together some essay about how learning an ethnic language forms a child's mind:

small children follow their own logic when they acquire a language,

but languages often have many irregularities,

and parents have to correct them over and over.

Thus the child is not encouraged to use logical thinking.

Esperanto, however, has a restricted set of rules,

and all that follows these rules is correct by definition.

We concluded, that raising our children with Esperanto as a second language will be good for them.

After contacting other parents who already did so and taking some advice,

we decided to give it a try.

And we never regretted in the past ten years.

#3 Yasu

xはエスペラントにはなくて字上符付き文字の代用表記です。

ドイツ語のウムラウトなど字上符を乗せるのは手間なのでxをつける・・理屈です。

ま、こんなことではエスペラントはいつまでたっても実用の国際語にはなれませんね。

EU内でも実質英語が共通語だそうですが、

EU内の橋渡し言語にエスペラントを導入しようという動きがあります。

これは翻訳や書類作りに大層なお金がかかるからです。

そこで、一つ橋渡し言語があれば作業量が少なくなるのではないかということになるのです。

とは言え、エスペラントは国際語の地位は得ていないのが現状。

民際語である。

あるいは世界中をネットワークにする奇特な人々の言語（第２言語）が正確なところです。

「平和」とか「人類皆兄弟」とかいったものが、エスペラントの創設の動機にあるわけで、

ザメンホフのその動機に同感した人々が、エスペラントを学んでいるのです。

ここで私が言う、Because to drink delicious beer　は、

ここでは伝えきれないエスペラント界における仲間たちとの団居

（まどい＝暖かい人間関係の上に立つ交際・・かな）を指しているのです。

"x" is a character top mark in Esperanto, because it doesn't have "X".

Since it is time and effort, putting character top marks, such as a German umlaut, attaches x.

.....it is one of quibbling :)

This tells me that Esperanto never gets used to the international language of practical use.

It is said that English is a common language also in EU.

However, there is a motion that Esperanto will be introduced into ”go-between”language in EU.

Because it takes a lot of cost to translate and make documents in different language style.

By sharing "go-between language" it helps decrease that cost.

As for Esperanto, in the status of an international language, not having obtained is the status quo.

Ethnic language.

Or it is the language (the 2nd language) of unique people who make the inside of the world.

"Why do you learn Esperanto?"

Because to drink delicious beer

The motive of foundation of Esperanto is in "Peace" or "We are all brothers and sisiters" and

People agreed with Zamenhof's idea learn Esperanto.

I enjoy delicious beer with friends, I mean people who learn together.

So my saying, "Because to drink delicious beer" means,

Being together with my friends( Esperant speakers )which I can't express it with my words here.

In other words, the friendship between human relations.

ps: I omitted or replaced other words so that others understand more.

My point of view after the interview...

Sometimes I meet a bump on the way to use English.

eg.English requires me to clarify who or what is subject of "SVO".

Positive or Negative comes at begining of one sentence.

We (Japanese ) put it at ending so that we let listeners understand well. So I try to change my MODE in using English and in Japanese.

Moreover I tend to miss or be lost in English speaking waves.

Where I am?

When you learn other language, you will probably notice that the culture is also installed in your mind while you are not recognized.

Language is a part of culture or history which belongs to people who speak about the language.

So this install is is required in learning any other languages.

My point of view of Esperanto is...

Esperanto is a language made by people.

It is easy to memorize and easy to use.

(Because more free style on its grammar.)

Not influenced by one culture,

nor not concerned that it is capitalism or socialism.

People are set free from those regulations and see each other as an individual.

Therefore they feel freedom by studying this language.

Of course people's mind should not fit a pattern basicaly.

Therefore, Esperanto is not the only method.

But I saw a new discovery here, at this time,

Freedom, it does not necessarily exist in a place but in people's minds.

BAHN means "Railroad" in German and DB is German Railroad.

Perhaps the word "DB Bahn" or "S Barn" are attached for railroads runs on the grounds because U Barn is the word for the subway,I guess.

I saw this viedo at lunch time on Friday.

...I had a dream last night :-)

It was an old platform I was standing.

The station was not urban type, single track and the station itself was very very classic which I saw in drawings of 19th centry.The locomotive was working there.

I found I was lost in unknown station and not to know which train to take.

A couple dressed classic and high quality outfits approached and said,

"Your ticket tells us we are going to same station and we can share time in same vehicle if you like"

There were many passengers in the train and the couple and me were in a nice compartment.

The waiter served us dinner but no beverage.

I felt thirsty and found a vending machine which sells mineral water.

It costs only 2 cents.

No announcement even when the train arrived at the station.

Somehow I doupt whether I took a wrong train and saw my train ticket.

All station names were listed up on it and...those were just scripts I could not understand.

I tried to check each "script" and "name" of the platform we passed though.

Finally I found out I took a wrong train and thought I had to get out of it.

The dream was over.

Dream is a message from unconsciousness.

I've checked the keywords with " dream interpretaion" and found out..

(I wrote a whole story of this and 3 key words came out)

# bevarage......A disagreeable thing but I have to get rid of it.

# water..........Importance of consistency.

Hummm..I don't know whether this is a message or bad one.

Dream has NO time line and contradintion.

It took me to 19th centry BUT bottle water in vending machine.

hahaha ...strange.

It reminds me of Disney movie, "Alice's Adventure in Wonderland"

I wonder if Walt disney and Lewis Carroll had many messages from his dreams which made them new creations? Not for sure.

Anyway...I just wanted to say, a routine for somebody turns to be something unusal ,

message for others .(I rarely remember my dream most of time :)
